At Honda’s request, I had the artist Roger Warrick create a large tribute sticker for the late and beloved Gil de Ferran, who was so incredibly close to the auto manufacturer.
The design, which measures nearly 4×9 inches, features Gil’s record-setting Reynard-Honda Indy car from 2001 atop his de Ferran Motorsports Acura ARX-02a from 2009, along with his 2001 and 2009 helmet liveries, the Brazilian flag, and the dFM team logo.
We’ll also make a donation to American Honda’s preferred charity, the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation.
